HAPRETH TAKEDOWN CLUB
Our Mission
The mission of the Harpeth Takedown Club is to support the Harpeth High School and Harpeth Middle School wrestling programs by providing financial assistance and resources to athletes, coaches, and administration, helping the program reach its full potential.


Our Purpose and Goals

The Club serves as a School Support Organization (SSO) for the wrestling programs at Harpeth High School and Harpeth Middle School. Its goals include:
Advocating for Harpeth wrestling programs within the community
Raising funds by creating and implementing effective fundraising opportunities
Providing a fair and responsible system for distributing funds based on program needs, as a supplement to school district funding
Promoting attendance, school spirit, and community support at athletic events
Assisting athletes in need
Encouraging the connection between academic achievement and athletic success
Meet the Coaches

Coach Woods
Coach Woods is a 36-year coach with 28 years at Harpeth. He coached multiple state champions, region champions, and section champions.

Coach Whitlow
Coach Whitlow is in his 6th year as a coach and is a multiple time state winning medalist. Won World title in jiu-jitsu. Coach Whitlow’s slick technical style will rub off on any wrestler he coaches.

Coach Sleeman
Coach Sleeman wrestled in WI for 13 years as a multiple time state qualifier and 9 years of coaching in TN, CA, and WI. His hard-nosed Midwest style will be welcomed in the room.
